PROPANE SYSTEM
Tank
The propane tank is in
a compartment in the lower left of the vehicle. The main shutoff
valve for the propane for the entire vehicle is located on the tank, as
shown in the photo.
Important
safety note: the propane valve must be shut and the heater turned
off before fueling the vehicle with propane or gasoline. Even if
the propane valve is shut, the heater can generate ignition sparks that
could ignite fumes from the fueling process.
Heater
The propane tank runs the vehicle heater, and is not used for any other
equipment. The vehicle
heater does not have a pilot light, but should light automatically.
The heater thermostat is located just inside the side door of the unit,
next to the awning control and the interior and exterior 12 volt light
switches.
