Power Distribution System

Important safety note:  Before plugging or unplugging any piece of equipment, turn the outlet off by switching the circuit breaker to off.


Distribtuion System
The power distribution system consists of Power Distribution boxes, and extension cords using the CS6369 type of connector.  This style of connector is commonly used on large portable generators and power distribution boxes.

Cable



This side of the box is where the extension cords plug into, using the CS6369 connector.

Note that you can connect one box to another box, using the Power out connector shown in the photo below.

Power in



This side of the box is where you plug in your equipment that needs power.

There are three types of connectors available.  The connectors on the left are household type 110VAC receptacles, each with its own 15 amp circuit breaker.  The one in the middle is the RV type 110/220 VAC 50 amp connector, NEMA 14-50.  The one on the right, with the red circle, is a twist-lock 110/220V connector, NEMA L14-30, commonly found on portable generators.
