Important
safety note: Before plugging or unplugging any piece of
equipment, turn the outlet off by switching the circuit breaker to off.
The power distribution system
consists of Power Distribution boxes, and
extension cords using the CS6369 type of connector. This style
of
connector is commonly used on large portable generators and power
distribution boxes.
This side of the box is where the extension cords plug into, using
the CS6369 connector.
Note that you can connect one box to another box, using the Power out
connector shown in the photo below.
This side of the box is where you plug in your equipment that needs
power.
There are three types of connectors available. The connectors on
the left are household type 110VAC receptacles, each with its own 15
amp circuit breaker. The one in the
middle is the RV type 110/220 VAC 50 amp connector, NEMA 14-50.
The one on the right, with the red circle, is a twist-lock 110/220V
connector, NEMA L14-30, commonly found on portable generators.
