Generator Power Outlets
The
generator power outlets are behind the rear door.
For
safety, turn the breaker off before connecting or disconnecting any
cables.
There are two 50 AMP 110/220V outlets, NEMA 14-50, under the 50 amp
breakers. These outlets are semi-hidden; you may need to get down
on your knees to see them.
There is one 30 AMP 110/220V outlet, NEMA L14-30, under the 30 amp
breaker. This outlet is semi-hidden; you may need to get down on
your knees to see it.
There are two 20 AMP 110V household type outlets, with GFI
protection. In the photo, they are the white outlets on the lower
left.
There are two special outlets, each 50 amp 110/220V, for power
distribution boxes. These are CS6369 outlets, commonly used on
large generators for power distribution boxes.
In each case the circuit breaker is close to the respective outlet; it
should be obvious which breaker is associated with which outlet.
The main breaker is the upper breaker.
Keep the rear door closed, to protect the rear panel from the
weather. Cables can come out the bottom even if the rear door is
closed.
