Important Safety Information:
The pilot lights for the two large burners do not have safety shutoffs. In other words, they are always on, unless the valve under the counter is turned off. Always turn off the propane valves on both tanks before closing up the trailer for storage, or moving the trailer. The first thing that you need to do, after turning on the propane valves at the tanks, is light these pilot lights, or turn off the valve under the counter. |

Note that there is a similar shutoff valve next to
the
refrigerator, which controls the propane for the hot water heater.
Note that when restarting the system after the tank
valves have been off, it will be necessary to bleed the air out of the
pipes before the pilot lights will light. Be a little patient,
and
allow time for the air to be forced out of the pipes, and then the
pilot
lights should start going. Similarly, after the pilot lights
start,
it may be necessary to hold the button down for several seconds to
allow
the heat to reach the safety shutoffs, so that the pilot light will
stay
lit. Start lighting pilot lights with the large burners next to
the
grille, then the grille, and finally the coffeepot.
Propane Tanks |
|
There are two propane tanks on the front of the trailer. Be sure that the tank valves are shut when the trailer is being transported or not in use. The propane tanks should be refilled after each use, which can be done anywhere propane is sold, submit a receipt for reimbursement. |
