The water system for the trailer is a gravity water
system, there is no pump.
The Fresh Water tank is the clear plastic tank over
the sinks. You can easily see the level of the water in the tank.
The fill for the fresh water tank is under the trailer, near the hot water heater.
The waste water tank is under the sinks, on the left
side as you face the tank from inside. The drain valve is under
the
trailer, not far from the hot water heater, and is closed by pushing
the
handle towards the front of the trailer, and opened by pulling the
handle
towards the back of the trailer.
Hot Water Heater |
The hot water heater runs on propane. To light the pilot, rotate the knob to pilot, light the pilot, and hold it there for a few seconds against a small amount of spring pressure. After the pilot operates by itself, rotate the knob to on. |
WinterizationTo winterize the trailer, do the following: |
Open the drain valve for the hot water heater. This is behind and below the controls for the hot water heater. |
Open all the valves on all the sinks.
When the water stops flowing, check that the fresh water tank is empty. If necessary, tilt the trailer to facilitate draining.
Depress check valve at water fill to drain water above check valve.
Pour a cup of antifreeze down one of the sinks to protect the S-trap under the sinks.
Drain the waste water tank.
