I was approached by GNIP, a high-tech company located in Boulder Colorado, to make a kind of artistic sign for their lobby. They were looking for something heavy, substantial, and unique. I made some samples, and they choose 1 inch thick steel plate, hand cut with an oxy-acetylene torch.
The sign is hanging from the ceiling, using stainless steel aircraft cable. It is located in front of a translucent wall in their lobby.
