Parabola Squared

This was a particularly challenging piece to make. I used a combination of techniques, including some from sheet metal and some from jewelry. The outer surface is all one piece, and the inner surface is welded to it.  When people see a picture of it, they often ask me if it was cast, and are surprised to learn that it was fabricated from sheet metal.
